Today marks the second day of roadwork in the Cunningham Culverts area that could result in some traffic stoppages.
Crews will be working on milling and paving on Route 422 between Poulous Road and Trim Tree Road, according to PennDOT . Operations will require 15 minute traffic stoppages for both lanes of traffic as the work is going on.
The project is a bridge/box culvert replacement job with a construction area that extends from the Trim Tree Road intersection to the Lions Health Camp Road intersection. Two small bridges are being replaced, one by a dual-cell box culvert and the other with a concrete pipe. The project is expected to wrap up next summer.
