The Steelers opened practice for Sunday’s Detroit game without wide receiver Chase Claypool, who injured his toe Monday night against the Bears. The practice was mostly just a walkthrough. Tight end Eric Ebron was a limited participant, as he hopes to return from a hamstring injury on Sunday.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger says the Steelers can’t afford to take winless Detroit lightly.
Big Ben says that although teams that haven’t yet won will sometimes resort to trick plays to get an advantage, the Steelers don’t necessarily plan for them.
In Thursday Night Football tonight in the NFL, the 6-2 Baltimore Ravens visit the 2-7 Miami Dolphins.
