An Indiana man faces drug-related charges after he was found asleep on someone’s front lawn last Friday night.
Indiana Borough Police said that 36-year-old Brian Porter was discovered by officers sleeping in a yard near the intersection of 3rd and Philadelphia Streets at 9:00 PM. Police discovered that Porter was under the influence of a controlled substance to the point that he was a danger to himself and others. He was also allegedly in possession of drug paraphernalia at the time of his arrest.
He was placed in Indiana County Jail on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and summary public intoxication. The criminal complaint was filed with District Judge Tony Sottile’s office.
