Concerns about grass and field maintenance were discussed at Monday’s Center Township supervisors meeting.
The initial issue was brought up by Brian Elkin of Hay Wagon Honey, who said he was concerned about what defines a field, which is what he has, versus a yard, and what needs to be mowed.
Supervisor James Bence said that they will have to look at the ordinance to see where details can be added to make the ordinance less vague.
Also during the meeting, it was announced that Steven Holt is the new tax collector for Center Township, taking over for the late Monica Jones. He will be located in the same office in Homer City, and his office hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 4-6 or by appointment.
