The Purchase Line School Board last night voted to hire Austin Alessi as the new boys’ basketball coach, with Thomas Manning and Dominique Campbell as his assistants.
Alessi replaces Steve Woodrow, who leaves coaching after 29 seasons, eight at Purchase Line followed by 12 at Marion Center, and after a two-year break, the last nine seasons back at Purchase Line.
