On Monday night, the Purchase Line School Board approved a resolution concerning property assessments.
The resolution will request an interim assessment of real property in the district, with the results of the assessment to be placed on the 2022 tax duplicates. Board president Scott Gearhart said this is standard procedure with the district, as this is done once a year.
The board also briefly discussed Governor Wolf’s announcement that the school mask mandate would be lifted in January, and the decision on masking will be returned to the district. Gearhart said that the board expected the mandate to be lifted sooner than January 17th.
The board also hired Austin Alessi as the new head coach for the Red Dragon basketball team, and Dominique Campbell and Thomas Manning as the assistant coaches.
