CLYMER BOROUGH POLICE
A Clymer man was arrested earlier this week on charges of disorderly conduct. Police were called out at 2:28 PM on Monday to a home in the 200 block of Hancock Street. Once there, the victim complained that around 12:30 PM, identified as 43-year-old Eric Sinclair, randomly approached them and made threats for no reason. Sinclair was standing on a public sidewalk at the time, but left when he was asked to, continuing to shout at the victim. A half-hour later, Sinclair returned, pulling into the driveway and trying to fight one of the victims. Again, he left after being asked. A summary citation charging Sinclair with disorderly conduct was filed with District Judge Christopher Welch’s office.
A Clymer man was caught by police driving on a suspended license. Police say at 6:54 PM on May 20th, they stopped an SUV in a parking lot near the intersection of Franklin and 6th Streets for an expired registration sticker. The driver, identified as 30-year-old William Rettinger, was not only driving on an expired sticker, but his license was suspended for DUI, and he did not have insurance on the vehicle. A criminal complaint was filed with District Judge Christopher Welch for habitual offenders, driving while suspended for DUI and several summary violations.
