Training camp for the Steelers is around the corner, but a big deadline looms today. Running back Le’veon Bell has until 4 PM to reach agreement on a long-term contract, or he will have to play under the franchise tag, at $12.12 million. He would then be prevented from signing a long-term contract until after the upcoming season. Bell made $967,000 in base salary last year.
Training camp kicks off on July 27th. The first preseason game is August 11th against the Giants in New York.
