The Pirates’ season resumes tomorrow night with the first game of a three-game set against the Cardinals, followed by a four-game series against Central Division first-place team Milwaukee.
In the remaining 73 games of the season, the Bucs meet Central Division rivals 44 times, and that will include 28 straight in the division starting August 25th.
Gerrit Cole starts against St. Louis tomorrow night at PNC Park. He is 7-7 with a 4.43 ERA. Mike Leake (6-7) starts for the Cardinals.
