Today is Memorial Day, which is a day set aside to honor those who died in service to our country. As today is a federal holiday, there are several closures in effect.
All federal, state, county and local government offices are closed for today. This includes PennDOT Drivers License Centers. Pennsylvania Liquor Stores that are normally open on Friday will be open today until 5:00 PM.
There will be no regular mail delivery and post offices are closed for the day. UPS and FedEx will not offer regular deliveries, but UPS express critical and FedEx custom critical deliveries will still be made.
Many banks are closed for the day as well, but many will continue to offer services through ATM’s.
