Blairsville Fire Officials are blaming a faulty compressor on top of a convenience store in the downtown area for a fire call early this morning.
Indiana County 911 reported a structure fire at 12:51 this morning at the Sheetz on Market Street. Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments responded, along with Indiana, Coral-Graceton and Homer City fire departments, the county HAZMAT team, Citizens Ambulance and Blairsville Police.
Officials said that the cause of the alarm was a compressor on the roof of the store switching on and off repeatedly. No fire damage was reported and all but Blairsville and Black Lick fire crews were cancelled en route.
