If it’s the day of the general election, it’s also the day of a long-running fundraiser for the United Way of Indiana County.
This marks a return for the annual pancake and sausage day to some pre-pandemic procedures and it marks the second year that they have been working out of the New Life Community Church at the Indiana Mall. Jane Lockard-Clawson, the executive director of the United Way of Indiana County, said that her crew of volunteers has been at it since the early morning hours.
Curbside ordering and pickup and dine-in options are available this year. So far, Lockard-Clawson is reporting success, with 750 pre-orders that went out or will go out soon. Proceeds from the pancake and sausage day go to the United Way’s annual fundraiser.
You still have time to get your pancakes and sausage, as the event runs until 7:00 tonight.
