Altoona endured a mid-game rain delay of almost ninety minutes before Seth Beer broke a scoreless tie with a leadoff home run in the 8th inning, on the way to a 2-0 win over Erie.
Sean Sullivan threw six shutout innings for the Curve, extending his scoreless streak to 15 innings. Eddy Yean tossed a scoreless 7th and got the win, and Nick Dombkowski finished up with a two-inning save.
