Tuesday night, Blairsville Borough Council approved a resolution to apply for a flood mitigation program grant.
The grant, according to council member Ab Dettorre, will help with an area of East Campbell Street that sees some flooding frequently.
The application is for a grant of around $350,000.
The borough also approved a resolution to adopt the Indiana County Hazard Mitigation Plan and an ordinance that regulates the placement of statues, ornaments and permanent fixtures.
