NHL’s Free Agency gets underway today and it looks like several teams will be focused on Penguins Center Nick Bonnino.
The fan-favorite may not be a viable option for the Pens as they start their chase for their third straight Stanley Cup, but GM Jim Rutherford says he is staying in close communication with Bonnino’s agent to see if there’s a nice offer on the table. It’s not out of the realm of possibility to see the Pens try to acquire a new center in a trade deal.
