White Township has announced that its annual yard waste recycling collection will begin tomorrow. Township workers will be collecting brush, shrubs, and small tree limbs and branches starting at 7 AM each day this week through Friday.
Residents are asked to place their items behind the curb or ditch on each street or road, being careful not to obstruct vehicle or pedestrian traffic or impede drainage.
There are restrictions on what you may put out for collection, such as tree limbs, which must be no more than 5 inches in diameter, less than 8 feet long, and under 50 pounds.
Also, no plastic bags will be picked up. Cardboard boxes or biodegradable paper bags must be used.
