If you have bought a Match 6 ticket for Saturday’s drawing, you may want to double-check it, as someone who purchased the ticket in Indiana County has hit the jackpot.
The PA Lottery announced that the winning ticket was bought at the Giant Eagle on Ben Franklin Road in Indiana, and matched all six winning numbers: 6-16-17-34-38-39. That will give the holder of that ticket $1.75 million, less any applicable withholding. Meanwhile, Giant Eagle will receive a $10,000 from the lottery for selling the winning ticket.
The name of the winner has not been announced, as the winning ticket needs to be claimed and validated first. Match 6 prizes expire one year after the drawing date. The winner is asked to sign their ticket and call the lottery at 1-800-692-7841 or visit www.palottery.com for more information on how to claim your prize.
