A Homer City man charged with creating methamphetamine is due in court today for a motions hearing.
59-year-old George F. Sager is charged with two counts of depositing, storing or disposing of chemical waste and single counts of operating a meth lab, possession with intent to deliver, possession of ephedrine and possession of a controlled substance for an incident on December 18th. State police say that on that day, they were called out to his home and found items needed to make meth using the “one-pot” method along with a spent “one-pot”. The state police clandestine laboratory response team was called in to process the evidence.
The hearing is to reconsider a motion to reduce Sager’s bond, which was set at $100,000. A criminal call hearing is scheduled for June 7th.
