The IUP women’s volleyball team beat Seton Hill in four sets last night at the KCAC. Four Crimson Hawks posted double-figures in kills, led by Nicole Peterson’s 16. Peterson posted her seventh double-double of the year, adding 10 digs and two block assists. Stefania Anagnostou, Caroline Walsh, and Kylie Osborn were also in double figures. Leah Henderson had 49 assists and Bailey Flowerdew has 22 digs. IUP is 12-12 and 3-6 in the PSAC West.
IUP All-American Paige Mikesell was named the PSAC Women’s Swimming Athlete of the Week yesterday. Mikesell and the Crimson Hawks opened the year with a 151-54 victory over Shippensburg. They’ll return to the pool this Friday with a dual meet at Edinboro.
