Plea court hearings are scheduled today for a Pittsburgh man charged in two cases, including one connected with an officer-involved shooting on IUP’s campus last October.
Court documents show that 20-year-old Cameron Held Raubaugh of Pittsburgh will go before Judge Michael T. Clark today for the hearings. In one case, he is charged with an incident on October 29th where he drew police to the George P. Miller Stadium parking lot saying there was a robbery in progress. Officers found him there with a knife in his hands. He allegedly knocked down an officer and a shot was fired by police, but it missed him. State police apprehended him later after subduing him with a taser. The charges in this matter include aggravated assault, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault and making false reports.
He is also charged with criminal trespass for an incident on February 9th in a separate case.
