HERITAGE CONFERENCE
The weather will be great for today’s Heritage Conference softball and baseball championship games. Marion Center will play Conemaugh Valley for the softball title at 3 o’clock at West Shamokin. The Stingers won the only meeting between the two teams, 11-6, on April 16th.
Conemaugh Township and Homer-Center battle for the conference baseball title at 7 at First Commonwealth Bank Field in Homer City. The Indians beat the Wildcats, 7-1, in their only meeting, in the first game of the season on March 20th.
Both games are on Renda Digital TV. The softball championship airs at 2:45, presented by Innovations of Home and Crystal Waters Personal Care Home. The baseball championship airs at 6:45, presented by the Homer City American Legion Post 493 and Robindale Energy.
DISTRICT 6
At the District 6 Committee meeting last week, a golf co-operative arrangement between Northern Cambria, Harmony, and Purchase Line was unanimously approved.
The District 6 Track & Field Championships begin tomorrow.
