After a big road win against Virginia Tech, Pitt is favored to beat Clemson on Saturday at Heinz Field, but coach Pat Narduzzi is having none of that…he says Clemson is still the cream of the ACC crop, and while the Tigers are adjusting to a new quarterback, they are still as dangerous as any team in college football.
At his weekly news conference yesterday, Narduzzi said Clemson sets the standard for ACC football.
Saturday’s game will be the first since 2014 that Clemson has entered an ACC game as the underdog. The morning line is Pitt by 3-and-a-half points. The Tigers’ two losses have come to number-one Georgia (10-3) and in double overtime to number-18 North Carolina State (27-21).
