After a highly-rated 2024 NFL draft, the Steelers get their first look at the rookies they chose, along with a group of undrafted, unsigned invitees today as their three-day rookie minicamp begins.
First-round draft pick Troy Fautanu, second-rounder Zach Frazier, and fourth-rounder Mitch McCormick will all line up together on the offensive line, joined by fellow draftees wide receiver Roman Wilson and linebacker Payton Wilson, who were both taken in the third round. The other draftees expected at rookie minicamp are defensive lineman Logan Lee and cornerback Ryan Watts, who were both taken in the sixth round.
The minicamp attendees also include undrafted signees and unsigned free agent rookies who were invited on a tryout basis, along with a few NFL veteran tryouts. All told, there will be about 50 players on the field at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.
