It was another miserable night for the Altoona Curve as they were handed their 14th consecutive loss as they were shut out by the Harrisburg Senators 2-0.
Chris Gau struck out a season-high five batters in relief for the Curve. The Curve bats were quiet until the 9th inning when Joe Perez hit a lead-off double, and a single from Seth Beer put runners at the corners. A strikeout then lead to a batter hit by the pitch to load the bases, but Mike Jarvis flew out to left field, then Perez after was thrown out as he tagged up and tried to score.
Altoona will play Harrisburg again tonight with Drake Fellows starting for the Curve.
