United senior Trinity Debnar signed her National Letter of Intent to further her academic and athletic career at Duquesne University Thursday morning.
Debnar was joined by her mother Beverly, coaches Jocelyn Hudson and Jennifer Charney, and United Athletic Director Cullen Stokes for her signing. She said she chose Duquesne based on its successful nursing program and the layout of campus.
Her cheerleading career started at a young age, joining All-Star Cheer at five years old, then continuing that until middle school. From there, she joined the United cheer team.
Debnar will dawn the blue and white one final time as she and Preslee Metil represent United at the Ken Lantzy All-Star Classic next month at Johnstown High School.
