State police have identified a suspect in the theft of diesel fuel from a Clarksburg Gas Station.
The thefts were reported on three different occasions in April, where reportedly two suspects drove in the early morning hours to the Sunoco station on Route 286 and pumped gas out of the station’s tank and into their own in the back of a pickup truck. The suspects then fled towards Saltsburg.
State Police Public Information Officer Trooper Cliff Greenfield said that the tip came from a member of the public. Details on the suspect who has been identified have not yet been released, but Greenfield said that charges against the suspect are pending and more information will be released when charges are filed.
