After a busy day on Saturday, first responders had only three calls over the last 24 hours.
The first call of the day was for a carbon monoxide alarm on Rice Avenue in Indiana Borough. That brought out the Indiana Fire Association at 5:15 Sunday morning. Indiana firefighters were called out again yesterday for what was initially reported as a structure fire on Philadelphia Street in White Township. Creekside, Homer City and Aultman fire departments, the RIT Team and Citizens Ambulance were also dispatched, but were cancelled as the call turned out to be an odor investigation at the Environmental Service Labs water testing facility. The search for any fire turned up negative, and there was no damage reported.
The third call was for the Clymer Volunteer Fire Department at 1:12 this morning for a Carbon Monoxide alarm activation at a location on Tanoma Road in Rayne Township.
