A non-profit substance abuse service which has a presence in Indiana County will share in more than $12 million in federal grants being administered by the state Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs.
Sage’s Army, which is based in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, will receive $700,000 for its operations, which include Westmoreland, Allegheny, Fayette, and Indiana counties. The funds come under the heading, “Community Recovery Support Services”.
Pennsylvania received more than $55 million from the federal SAMHSA Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant Program Covid-19 Supplemental Awards program.
