The Pirates losing streak extended to six games with an 11-4 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks last night in Arizona.
The Pirates started the scoring as Gregory Polanco hit an RBI double to score Josh Harrison. But Arizona put the game away in the third with a seven-run third inning, including home runs from Chris Ianetta and Brandon Drury. Josh Bell of the Pirates hit a two-run homer in the top of the 4th and Gregory Polanco hit an RBI single in the top of the 5th.
The Pirates and D-Backs play again tonight starting at 7:45 on WCCS.
