IUP’s women’s field hockey team nipped Slippery Rock, 2-1, under the lights at Miller Stadium last night. Shelby Harnish and Georgianna Chiavacci scored the Crimson Hawks’ goals as the team improved to 6-1 and 1-1 in the PSAC.
After playing to a scoreless draw through almost 80 minutes last night, IUP’s soccer team got a late score by Cloe Theoricht to beat Seton Hill, 1-0. Indiana High grad Hannah Scardina assisted on the goal. Samantha Gildner stopped 11 shots, including a game-saver in the 84th minute. It was her third shutout of the season. IUP is now 4-2-1 overall, and fourth in the PSAC West.
