When one thinks of Bill Cowher during his time with the Steelers, many remember him for his blue collar work ethic, and for sometimes shouting a lot at his players. Well, last night, the tables turned as Cowher was honored by the Steelers with a charity roast event to benefit the Mel Blount Youth Home.
The roast allowed the players and others to throw barbs at the former coach and current NFL on CBS analyst. Those showing their affectionate malice last night included Troy Polamalu, Brett Kiesel, and even members of Cowher’s own family.
