A Westmoreland County man was sentenced yesterday in court after pleading guilty to two counts related to a drug bust that happened near Saltsburg in April of this year.
Reports say 52-year-old Brian Miller pleaded guilty to two counts, and prosecutors agreed to dismiss the remaining four charges, including operation of a methamphetamine lab. State police said they received a tip about a possible meth lab operating out of Miller’s home in the 600 Block of Loyalhanna Dam Road, which is two miles south of Saltsburg. Police found in their raid red phosphorus, other chemicals and equipment that were consistent with the manufacture of Meth. The State Police Clandestine Laboratory Response Team assisted with the search.
Miller was ordered to serve seven to 23 months in jail along with two years on probation. He was also ordered to pay $6,940 in restitution to the state police.
