Senior Nicholas Ward shot a 2-over 72 yesterday and finished at 5-over 145 overall, good for 10th place among individual scorers, and the IUP men’s golf team finished fifth out of fourteen teams at the University of Charleston’s Golden Eagle Invitational in South Carolina. Tuesday afternoon at Berry Hills CC.
Ward was not part of IUP’s entered 5-man team, as he golfed as an individual. The Hawks’ top counting finisher was freshman Isaiah Swan, who made his collegiate debut by finishing in a tie for 18th overall with an 8-over 148.
