A father-daughter duo will donate their own tribute to “It’s A Wonderful Life” to the Jimmy Stewart Museum today: a Lego set based on the iconic film.
Jason Middaugh and his 12-year-old daughter Jane have created their own versions of the iconic Granville House, the truss bridge, and accessories including the famous “You are in Bedford Falls” sign, George Bailey’s car and even mini-fig representations of George Bailey, Clarence and Mr. Potter. Jason has also submitted the set idea to the Lego Idea program, where people can submit ideas to the company in the hopes of having it become a future set. He talked about the inspiration behind the project.
The original model is currently on display at the Seneca Falls Visitor Center.
Jason and Jane are also looking to pick up votes for the Lego Idea program. They have a goal of 10,000 supporters and right now, they are at 4,798 supporters. Supporting the program is free and you can find out how to add your support by logging on to their Lego Idea website.
