Congratulations to Marion Center’s Mia Oterson, who signed a letter of intent to play college basketball for Coach Mike Drahos at UPJ. She signed on April 20th.
The 5-5 guard averaged 10.1 points and 3.0 assists per game and was a 37 percent three-point shooter in her senior season, and her PA Yellow Jackets AAU team won the U.S. Junior Nationals Copper Division under-17 national championship in 2016.
Mia’s aunt, Janet Hess, was a Marion Center great who was an All-American guard for UPJ in the early 1990s.
