The Marion Center girls’ track and field team scored the most team points in the Appalachian Track and Field Invititational Saturday at Windber.
The meet brought together Heritage and WestPAC teams together in one meet.
The Stingers girls scored 105 points to win the girls’ competition, with 49 of those points coming in distance running events and a first place in the 4×800 relay. Taya Whitfield and MacKenzie Walker took first and second, respectively, in the mile. Madison Walker and Alyx Cornetto took first and second, respectively, in the two mile.
Ligonier Valley captured first place in the boys’ competition with 103 points.
