It’s a heavy schedule across the PSAC tonight, as the conference’s football season kicks off with Slippery Rock visiting Wayne State, Cal U traveling to Fairmont State, East Stroudsburg hosting Pace University, Millersville welcoming American University, Seton Hill hosting Wheeling, Shepherd at Ohio Dominican, and Gannon at Northwood.
Tomorrow, West Chester will visit Bentley. On Saturday, Kutztown hosts Assumption and Shippensburg hosts West Virginia State. Bloomsburg visits Stonehill College and Clarion will play host to Lake Erie College.
IUP will open the season on September 11th at home against Kutztown.
A sign of the times, and unfortunately it’s probably not the last time we will hear something like this, Edinboro’s season-opening football game has been canceled because of covid-19.
One player on the Fighting Scots’ roster tested positive and the school says Erie County quarantine protocols will prevent Saturday’s game at Grand Valley State from happening. The game was originally supposed to be played tonight, but last weekend was moved to this coming Saturday. Edinboro will open at home against Shippensburg on September 11th.
