An amazing comeback win for the Pirates last night in the opener of a four-game series with the Cardinals.

Game two of the series tonight will feature the Pirates’ lefty Dillon Peters (0-1, 1.86 ERA) making his third start since being acquired from the Angels. He pitched against the Cardinals last Saturday and gave up three runs, one earned, in a 5-4 win. He’ll be opposed by JA Happ, who started that game last Saturday for the Cards and gave up two runs, one earned. Because of high school football, the game will not be heard tonight on WCCS.
