The Penguins gave up a two-goal lead in the third period and lost to Columbus, 4-3, in a shootout.
Drew O’Connor, Bryan Rust, and Rickard Rakell scored the Penguins’ goals in regulation time. The shootout went five rounds. Sidney Crosby had the lone goal for the Pens in the shootout. Alexandre Texier and Damon Severson scored for the Blue Jackets.
The Penguins have a very busy schedule this week. They play the Rangers tomorrow night in New York, the Devils on Tuesday in New Jersey, then the Capitals in Washington on Thursday and the Lightning in Pittsburgh on Saturday.
