Ben Roethlisberger was 8-for-10 passing for 137 yards and two touchdown passes to rookie tight end Pat Freiermuth as the Steelers won their third straight preseason game, 26-20, over Detroit last night.
Roethlisberger took 16 snaps before being replaced by Mason Rudolph late in the first quarter.
Kicker Chris Boswell made his preseason debut as well and was perfect on four field goal attempts, plus both of his extra point attempts.
The Steelers conclude the preseason against the Carolina Panthers on Friday night in Charlotte.
