The Altoona Curve picked up an 11-3 win over the Somerset Patriots Friday night.
In his first game back from the injured list, Oneil Cruz was 3-for-5 with two doubles, a single and 3 RBI. Matt Frazier had a two-run double as well. The majority of the runs for the Curve in the 5th and 6th inning, as the team plated seven runs.
Starting pitcher Osvaldo Bido had his longest start of the season, going 6 and 2/3rds innings, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks, striking out six on 99 pitches, with 2/3rds of his pitches called strikes.
The two teams will play again tonight. Omar Cruz will start for the Curve against Shawn Semple for the Patriots.
