Nearly 80 players will hit the field at Miller Stadium tomorrow at 4:15 pm when spring football practice begins for IUP.
Coach Paul Tortorella is beginning his eighth year, seven on the field, led by quarterback Karst Hunter, who hadn’t arrived from Colorado Mesa in time for spring ball last spring.
The running back stable is full with the addition of three-year starter Kaleb Monaco, who transferred from Bloomsburg. Three starters return to the offensive line, as well as all three tight ends.
All-Conference linebacker Garrett Cox, a Millersville transfer, will spearhead the defense, with three-time All-Conference defensive back Darius Bruce leading the secondary.
In addition, the placekicker, punter and long snappers all return.
