The Pirates made some roster moves Wednesday after their 8-2 loss to the Phillies.
The Bucs released 31 year old relief pitcher Jarod Hughes and sent starting pitcher Drew Hutchison to AAA Indianapolis.
Also, outfielder Gregory Polanco has a “visa” glitch and will not make the trip to Montreal for the Friday and Saturday games. He will rejoin the team in Boston for Monday’s season opener.
