Keith Dambrot, who won two state championships in high school in Ohio and 413 college games, announced last night he will be the new head coach at Duquesne.
Dambrot, who is 58 years old, has been the coach at Akron since the 2004-2005 season and led his team to the NCAA Tournament three times.
Akron was the Mid-American Conference regular-season champ this year with a 27-9 record.
