Two Indiana County school boards are scheduled to meet tonight.
The Indiana Area board meeting will be preceded by a meeting of the Policy & Personnel Committee, which will review several agreements with outside organizations and a number of policy items, including security issues such as threats, bullying, hazing, and emergency preparedness.
The board agenda tonight includes a $190,000 expenditure for the purchase of consumable materials for the next five years, using ESSERS funds. The board will also vote on a number of extracurricular hirings, including head coaches and assistants for baseball, track, boys’ tennis, and girls’ volleyball. Among other agenda items are numerous safety and security policies, and several teacher hirings.
Purchase Line has not yet published its agenda, but last week’s work session included a review of revisions to the health & safety plan, the hiring of a number of teaching, support, and extracurricular personnel, the setting of prices for the cafeteria, and service contracts with outside agencies.
