Purchase Line and Ligonier Valley advanced in the Indiana Optimist Underclass Basketball Tournament last night at Indiana High School.
The Red Dragons defeated Northern Cambria, 83-53, to move into the semi-finals Thursday night against Ligonier Valley, a 73-54 winner over Blairsville.
Melvin Sanchez was the leading scorer for Purchase Line with 18 points, while Michael Marinchak scored 27 and Marek Paola scored 25 for Ligonier Valley.
Matt Jackson tallied 29 for Blairsville.
Tonight, Homer Center takes on Penns Manor at 7 p.m., while host Indiana meets Saltsburg in game two.
