The Penguins clinched a playoff berth for an 11th straight season with a 3-1 win at Buffalo on Tuesday night.
The Pens scored twice in the third period, while goaltender Matt Murray made 28 saves.
Sidney Crosby scored in the first period to get the Pens out front, 1-0. Tied at 1-1 in the third period, Pittsburgh broke the tie and pulled away on goals by Nick Bonino and Conor Sheary.
The Penguins improved to 46-17-9.
