The Pirates entered the final full week of spring training with a win yesterday over the Rays. Greg Brown has the story.
The Pirates yesterday assigned pitcher Paul Skenes, catcher Carter Bins, infielder Sergio Alcantara, and outfielders Matt Gorski and Joe Perez to their minor league camp while also sending pitcher Kyle Nicholas to Indianapolis.
The Bucs will play the Phillies today in Clearwater. Martin Perez will start for the Pirates.
