Penguins forward Zach Aston-Reese has filed for salary arbitration after not reaching a contract agreement.
The 26-year-old scored nine goals with six assists in 45 games last season after returning from shoulder surgery. Aston-Reese is coming off a two-year contract that was reached prior to his arbitration hearing in 2019. The NHL’s arbitration hearings are scheduled for August 11th through the 16th.
Former Penguins forward Sam Miletic has agreed to a free agent contract with the Carolina Hurricanes.
Ex-Penguin Marc Andre Fleury has informed the Blackhawks that after consulting with his family, he will play for them after being traded by Vegas to Chicago last week.
