Tunch Ilkin headlined the Steelers’ four-member Hall of Honor class, announced yesterday. Ilkin is joined by four-time Super Bowl tackle Jon Kolb, safety Carnell Lake, and wide receiver Louis Lipps.
Ilkin, who is suffering from Lou Gehrig’s Disease, retired from the Steelers’ broadcast booth in the spring.
Last year’s Hall of Honor class, safeties Troy Polamalu and Mike Wagner, linebackers James Farrior and Greg Lloyd, and defensive end, the late Dwight White, will be honored along with this year’s class during the Steelers’ game on November 14th.
